Our mission at Unaccompanied Youth Project, Inc. is to support and encourage the unaccompanied youth in the schools and foster systems in Rockford and the surrounding areas. Our vision is to plant the seeds of hope in young people who are otherwise forgotten and alone. The main goal of Unaccompanied Youth Project, Inc is to help reduce poverty and improve the quality of life for individuals and families in need.
We donate 3 times per calendar year.
These dates include:
We expect to donate to around 160 Unaccompanied Youth each year. In February, we expect approximately 30 donations for the youth who have aged out of foster care. In May, we expect to require roughly 80 gifts, and 50 gifts in December for the unaccompanied youth still in foster care.

We host Volunteer Events three times a year for our gifting events. These include February for Valentine's Day, May for Graduation Day, and December for Christmas. You can find specific information on our Volunteer Opportunities page. You can also find specific dates in our Events section.
